Orders will start shipping on the 22nd of July

Asus announced three new Chromebooks back in January, including the ultra-premium CX9 that offers ridiculous specs for something running ChromeOS. Despite being listed on Asus’ German website for a while, it’s been strangely absent in the US. That finally changed this week as the CX9 is once again on the US Asus store and is available for pre-order.

There are two variants of the CX9 listed, starting with a non-touchscreen 11th gen i3 model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for $749.
