iPhone SE 4 could arrive sooner than expected; Here’s what you need to know

As per prevailing speculation, the fourth-generation SE is anticipated to debut in the early part of 2025, with production likely commencing by the conclusion of 2024. According to supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple suppliers are expected to begin mass production of the fourth-generation iPhone SE in December.

This upcoming model is projected to adopt a design similar to that of the standard iPhone 14, featuring anticipated specifications such as a 6.1-inch OLED display, Face ID technology, an enhanced A-series chip, a USB-C port, a single 48-megapixel rear camera, and 8GB of RAM to facilitate Apple Intelligence.

Moreover, it will incorporate the first 5G modem designed by Apple. The launch of the new iPhone SE is anticipated in the first half of 2025, with a probable release in March or April. The commencement of mass production in December is consistent with this schedule.

Kuo estimates that Apple suppliers will produce around 8.6 million units of the fourth-generation iPhone SE by the conclusion of the first quarter of the upcoming year. The current iPhone SE was introduced in March 2022.

There is growing speculation regarding a revolutionary new iPhone model, referred to as the iPhone 17 Air. This device is expected to go beyond a simple incremental update, potentially representing a complete reimagining of the iPhone, advancing the frontiers of design and display technology.
