This new model is anticipated to feature a design akin to that of the standard iPhone 14, with speculated attributes such as a 6.1-inch OLED display, Face ID technology, an upgraded A-series chip, a USB-C port, a single 48-megapixel rear camera, and 8GB of RAM to support Apple Intelligence.
Additionally, it will include the first Apple-designed 5G modem. The release of the new iPhone SE is projected for the first half of 2025, with a likely launch in March or April. The initiation of mass production in December aligns well with this timeline.
Kuo estimates that approximately 8.6 million units of the fourth-generation iPhone SE will be produced by Apple suppliers by the end of the first quarter of the upcoming year. The current iPhone SE was launched in March 2022.
Speculation surrounding a groundbreaking new iPhone model, designated as the iPhone 17 Air, is intensifying. This device is expected to transcend a mere incremental update; it may signify a comprehensive reimagining of the iPhone, pushing the boundaries of design and display technology.
Apple has consistently demonstrated an exceptional capacity for innovation within its product range, and the iPhone 17 Air could herald the next major evolution.
Reports suggest that this model is likely to be significantly slimmer than its predecessors, potentially exceeding the elegant design of the original iPhone.
