On this week’s episode of the AppleInsider Podcast, what’s on everyone’s mind is the prospect of Apple VR, an OLED touchscreen on MacBook Pro, an imminent Mac Pro, and more.
A new report says that the last Mac Pro, the last Mac to switch to Apple Silicon, is being tested alongside the forthcoming iOS 16.3. That iOS update is probably no more than a few weeks away, so you can infer that the Mac Pro may launch then — but we couldn’t possibly comment.
Okay, we could comment and we do, but usually rumors have to be taken with a light salting. This time, there are so many rumors that appear to be so well backed up, though, that it’s tempting to look at all we may be getting from Apple this year.
Back in the here and now, though, Apple has released Apple Business Connect. It’s a new tool that right now will let firms edit and manage how their businesses are shown on services such as Apple Maps.
The question, though, is whether this is really just a next step toward removing Apple Maps’s reliance on Yelp.
