On this week’s episode of the Homekit Insider podcast, Faith O’Hara joins us to discuss baby tech that works and doesn’t work.
Before diving into the smart baby products, we start off with the week’s news. The most notable was the launch of the new Sonos Era line.
The Sonos Era 100 and Era 300 have plenty of new features and work with AirPlay 2 and HomeKit. The Sonos Era 300 is the more capable of two with support for Apple Music Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos when connected to select Sonos soundbars.
Ring debuted a new doorbell this past week, the Ring Battery Doorbell Plus that supports HD+ video and package detection with head-to-toe video.
Finally, Ember, who announced a new Find My-enabled thermos in January, has a new smart baby bottle with a built-in heater.
We wrap the episode by talking about all the various baby tech that Faith and Andrew have tried since having their first little one five months ago. We discuss smart bassinets, baby monitors, bottle warmers, apps, breast pumps, and more.
