Samsung has released the stable Android 13 update to the carrier-locked versions of the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in the US. Two weeks ago, the update was released in European countries. Last week, Samsung expanded the update’s availability to Galaxy Note 20 units in the US that were running the beta version of One UI 5.0.

The stable Android 13 update for the carrier-locked versions of the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in the US comes with firmware version N98xUSQU3GVK1. It’s a pretty big (2GB) update, so it is better to download it using your home or office’s Wi-Fi network. The new software also includes the November 2022 security patch. The update is currently rolling out on Sprint’s and T-Mobile’s networks in the US. Other carriers could release the update within the next few days.

If you are a Galaxy Note 20 series user in the US and on any of the carrier networks mentioned above, you can download the new software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.

The unlocked versions of the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in the US could get the update as soon as this week. Samsung has released the update in various countries worldwide, and the update could expand to all countries worldwide before the end of this year.
