A few hours ago, we reported that TUV Rheinland has certified Samsung’s three upcoming A-series smartphones, the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26. Well, the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has now certified one of them, the Galaxy A56, and it reconfirms that the phone will come with Samsung’s One UI 7.
FCC has certified a Samsung device with the model number SM-A566E. It is one of the variants of the Galaxy A56 that the company might sell mainly in Asian and Middle Eastern countries. One of the certification documents contains a screenshot from the phone’s status information screen.
If you look closely, you will notice that the battery icon at the top-right corner of the screen is from One UI 7, which confirms that the Galaxy A56 will come with Android 15 and Samsung’s latest software skin.
The listing of the smartphone on Geekbench revealed that it runs on Android 15. However, we hadn’t seen it running with Samsung’s latest software customization. Well, that’s finally changing today.

Apart from that, FCC reveals that the Galaxy A56 has 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, and 45W charging, which is something that previous leaks had also revealed. Considering that FCC and other platforms have certified the Galaxy A56, it looks like Samsung could launch it very soon.
