For the longest time ever, Samsung has kept the design of its Galaxy S Ultra series. By now, we’re sure that some are probably getting a little tired of the design. Unfortunately, if you were hoping for major design changes in the Galaxy S25 Ultra, you might be disappointed to learn that might not be the case.
This is according to a post on X by Roland Quandt who shared what appears to be third-party silicon covers for the Galaxy S25 series (the Ultra model included). Based on the design, it seems that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will ditch the sharp corners from the Galaxy S24 Ultra, but ultimately the changes won’t be too different from its predecessor.
This is kind of disappointing because like we said, the design of the Ultra series hasn’t changed too much over the years. We’re not saying it won’t be a powerful handset. It probably will be one of the most powerful Android smartphones of 2025, but we would have liked to see a brand new design.
We can’t completely fault Samsung for keeping the design, though. Making new molds is an expensive process, not to mention there might also be a need to redesign the internal components. In any case, we’ll have to wait until 2025 to get a better idea, so until then take it with a grain of salt.
