The Motorola Razr 2022 was launched in China last month. The company was tight-lipped regarding its availability outside of China, but Evan Blass just confirmed something interesting. Based on the images the tipster shared, the Motorola Razr 2022 is going global, and likely coming to the US.

He shared a bunch of press materials via his Twitter account. These seem to be global press materials, as there’s no sign of Chinese letters, the text is in English. The tipster shared nine images in total, all of which you can see in the gallery below the article.
These images will not only give you a closer look at the phone itself, but parts of its UI as well. You can see some text messages on the cover display, split screen in action on the main display, and so on.
Once it launches outside of China, chances are it will include the same specs as in Lenovo’s home country. The Motorola Razr 2022 is actually quite powerful, and it’s a considerable step away from its predecessors design-wise.
This phone includes two cameras on the back, a large cover display, and it doesn’t have a large ‘chin’ below the main display. On top of that, Motorola also got rid of the notch that was a staple of the ‘Razr’ design.
The device comes with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, up to 12GB of RAM & more
The device is quite powerful, though. It is fueled by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, while it also packs in 8GB and 12GB of RAM, depending on the variant.
The Motorola Razr 2022 features a 6.7-inch fullHD+ (2400 x 1080) Foldable P-OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Its cover display measures 2.7 inches, and it’s an OLED display.
The phone comes with a water-repellent coating, and ships with Android 12 out of the box. It does have stereo speakers, and three cameras overall. A 50-megapixel main camera is backed by a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera on the back. There is also a 32-megapixel camera on the main display.
Motorola included a 3,500mAh battery inside of this phone, while it offers 33W charging as well. A side-facing fingerprint scanner is also a part of the package. The phone is shorter, wider, and thinner than its predecessor. It’s also slightly heavier at 200 grams.
We still don’t know when exactly will the phone launch outside of China, but that will likely happen soon.
