The nature of modern smartphone leaks has now gotten to the point where we know enough about upcoming devices as early as a year before, and while not everything that gets leaked turns out to be true, a lot of rumors seem to be accurate nonetheless. Take for example the upcoming Pixel 10 series, which is expected to arrive in four different models.
According to leaks shared by the folks over at Android Headlines, Google will maintain its four-flagship setup that debuted with the Pixel 9. The base model Pixel 10 is currently known as “Frankel”, while the Pixel 10 Pro will be dubbed “Blazer”, and the Pixel 10 Pro XL will referred to as “Mustang”. As for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, the device will be codenamed “Rango”.
As for the Pixel 9a (which has been previously leaked), rumors claim that the 9a’s codename is “Tegu” and will be announced sometime in May during Google I/O 2025. Earlier leaks also claim that Google will be moving to TSMC for its Tensor G5 chipset, which is expected to come with significant performance improvements over the Tensor G4.
