Samsung appears to be getting ready to release a new Galaxy Book ultrabook powered by Intel and Microsoft. More specifically, Bluetooth has just approved an unannounced Samsung notebook PC named “Galaxy Book 3 Ultra,” which, to our recollection, should be the company’s first “Ultra” laptop in its recent portfolio.

Bluetooth lists several Galaxy Book 3 Ultra variants identified by model numbers NT960XFH, NP960XFH, NT961XFH, NT960XFS, and NT960XFHZ. And although the listing doesn’t go into hardware specifications for the ultrabook, it does reference a Microsoft and an Intel product.

Samsung’s recent Bluetooth listing references two qualified designs, one by Microsoft and the other by Intel. It confirms that the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra runs Windows 11 and is equipped with the Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6E adapter.

It’s worth noting that although the Intel AX210 adapter supports Bluetooth 5.3, Samsung’s laptop uses the Bluetooth 5.1 specification. This is most likely due to the limitations of Windows 11. And speaking of the OS, this Windows 11 Samsung laptop will likely offer the customized One UI Book 4 software experience, which comes with Samsung Notes and Samsung Gallery apps.

Samsung has worked hard to “redefine the computing experience for the mobile world” for a couple of years now. And for 2022, the company teamed up with Microsoft and Intel to create notebook PCs that offer “even more continuity to users as they work, connect, play, and more.”

Speaking of redefining things, this new ultrabook isn’t called “Pro” like the Galaxy Book 2 Pro, but “Ultra.” This has become Samsung’s brand of choice for its top-tier mobile products, such as the Galaxy S22 Ultra and the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, the latter of which is the first Samsung tablet to join the “Ultra” family. All this could mean that the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra may offer even better interconnectivity with Galaxy mobile devices.

No other details were revealed by Bluetooth, but chances are that the notebook is powered by Intel’s 12th-Gen CPUs.
