The third sale of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold SE (Special Edition) has once again proved this should have been a global product. Samsung conducted the third sale in Korea, and the phones sold out even faster than the first time around.
The third Galaxy Z Fold SE sale once again proved that this should have been a global product
The first batch sold out in 10 minutes. The second sale went out even faster, in only 5 minutes. It took Samsung 6 minutes to sell out all the devices it had to offer in the third sale. Do note that we don’t know how many of them were available, though.
What we do know, however, is that there were more units available this time around than for the second sale, and it took Samsung only 1 minute longer to sell everything.
As many of you know by now, this device launched in two countries only, Korea and China. It arrived to China as the Samsung W25, and it’s a bit different than the Korean mode. It includes ceramic, and it’s notably heavier.
Based on a report prior to launch, Samsung has no plans to launch this phone in any other markets. That seems to be accurate as that report did mention only Korea and China before anyone knew what was going to happen.
This phone offers better cameras than the Galaxy Z Fold 6, while it’s also considerably thinner
That’s a shame, though, as this phone does have more to offer than the Galaxy Z Fold 6. It’s notably thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold 6, and it arguably looks better overall. It also has a better camera setup and a much less noticeable display crease.
Those are some major improvements compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 6. It seems like the users outside of Korea and China will be forced to wait until the Galaxy Z Fold 7 comes knocking, at least, which is a shame. The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition should have been a global product.
