Jabra’s new top-shelf Elite 10 noise-canceling earbuds add Dolby Atmos

Jabra just rolled out its new flagship wireless active noise-canceling earbuds, Jabra Elite 10, alongside its rugged Jabra Elite 8 Active buds.

Elite 10 features 10mm drivers, comfortable open-ear construction and, in a first for Jabra, Dolby Atmos spatial audio with head tracking.

Jabra Elite 10 wireless ANC earbuds

As an enthusiastic owner of Jabra’s Elite 7 Pro earbuds — I reviewed them in 2021 and they’re still a go-to in my earbud menagerie — I suspect the company’s Elite 10 set of earbuds is an even better choice an an AirPods Pro 2 alternative.

The addition of Dolby Atmos with head tracking, which is designed to keep you in the center of the sound stage, should only make the new buds a better value.

Advanced 10mm drivers and a 6-microphone array should enable quality audio for both music and calls.

Beefed up ANC

Jabra said Elite 10’s advanced ANC is twice as strong as ANC in its previous earbuds. The earbuds’ ANC is also adaptive, in that the buds measure your ear canal using infrasonic waves to adjust ANC gain for things like wind or a loose seal that lets sound escape.

The company also added Jabra ComfortFit technology for these earbuds. That is meant to give the “most natural, airy fit and less occlusion” due to its semi-open design that relieves ear pressure.

Sweat- and dust-resistant

Much like its “Active” line of earbuds for workouts, Jabra Elite 10 buds feature an IP57 rating for sweat-, water- and dust-resistant construction.

Elite 10 is Bluetooth 5.3 enabled and supports Bluetooth Multipoint connection, Fast Pair and Swift Pair. The buds are also Bluetooth Low Energy-ready (LE, LC3, LC3plus codec with a future firmware update).

Jabra said the buds offer six-hour battery life (27 hours with use of the wireless charging case with ANC on).

You can pick up Jabra Elite 10 earbuds in Cream, Cocoa, Titanium Black, Gloss Black or Matte Black for $291. The Cocoa color is exclusive to Jabra.com. Many Jabra earbuds are on Amazon, but the Elite 10 aren’t there yet.
