Honor 400 series bets big on AI

Honor officially announced the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro days ago, and while the initial buzz focused on their AI camera capabilities, the full package offers quite a bit more for upper-midrange devices. 

Both models come equipped with a 200MP AI-enhanced main camera, which anchors the brand’s push into smart photography. AI tools like Image to Video, AI Eraser, and Remove Reflection make post-processing more accessible for everyday users, while the 400 Pro’s 50MP telephoto lens provides up to 50x zoom.

The Honor 400 has a flat screen and a symmetrical build, while the Pro model leans more to a premium design with curved glass, a third camera, and IP69 protection over the Honor 400’s IP66 rating. The standard 400 runs on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, while the 400 Pro upgrades to a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.
