TL;DR

  • OnePlus is expected to launch the Nord CE 3 Lite on April 4.
  • The device is expected to be the newest, most affordable OnePlus phone.
  • It could get camera and charging upgrades compared to the Nord CE 2 Lite.

OnePlus will reportedly launch the Nord CE 3 Lite on April 4. The information comes from tipster Max Jambor. The design and specs of the phone first leaked in November. At the time, it was thought to be the OnePlus Nord CE 3. However, leaker OnLeaks later clarified that the device is indeed the CE 3 lite.

So as per the information available right now, the Nord CE 3 Lite could have a 6.7-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone could be powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G chip. It also appears it could offer 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The phone could feature a triple-camera setup comprising a 108MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor, similar to the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite, albeit with a main camera upgrade. A 5,000mAh battery with 67W charging could complete the setup.

As for its availability, the Nord CE 3 Lite could be limited to the Indian market like its predecessor. We expect it to be a super affordable phone, matching the under $300 price tag of the Nord CE 2 Lite.
