New Xiaomi, OPPO & Vivo flagships are all coming in October

According to a new report from a trusted source, new Xiaomi, OPPO and Vivo flagships will launch in October. This information comes from Digital Chat Station, one of the best-known tipsters in the business.

He says that both OPPO and Vivo flagships will launch before Xiaomi’s offerings, though. Why? Well, because they will utilize MediaTek’s chip(s), while the Xiaomi 15 series will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.

To be more accurate, he is referring to the OPPO Find X8, OPPO Find X8 Pro, Vivo X200, and Vivo X200 Pro. MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 processor is expected to fuel these smartphones.

You’ll notice that the OPPO Find X8 Ultra and Vivo X200 Ultra are not on this list. That’s probably because those phones will arrive later on with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. We’re only guessing, though, based on their predecessors.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC is coming in October too

Now, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will launch in October, that much we know. Xiaomi is tipped to become the first company to announce Snapdragon 8 Gen 4-powered smartphones, so they’ll arrive soon after the launch of the chip.

The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro launched on November 1 last year. Their successors will come even sooner than that, in October. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra, on the other hand, will arrive at a later date, almost certainly.

There’s plenty to look forward to for the remainder of the year, in regards to mobile tech. Google just announced its new Pixel 9 flagships, while IFA is right around the corner. The iPhone 16 series is coming next month too, while plenty of flagship smartphones will follow in October, and all the way up until the very end of the year.
