A well-known tipster has just shared some information about the upcoming OPPO and OnePlus foldables. The OnePlus Open 2 aka OPPO Find N5 will be “extremely slim”, support wireless charging, and much more.

The OnePlus Open 2 will be “extremely slim”, support wireless charging & more info appears

The information comes from Digital Chat Station, by the way, one of the most accurate tipsters in the business. In addition to what was said before, the tipster said that the “screen size has been increased”.

A “large round lens” will be included on the back, so we’re looking at a circular camera island here. Hasselblad will be a part of the package, of course. A 50-megapixel main camera will be backed by a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel 3x periscope telephoto camera.

The battery will also get a boost. We’re looking at two batteries here, a 2,460mAh and a 3,105mAh. That makes for a 5,565mAh battery will will likely be marketed as a 5,700mAh unit. As a reminder, the OnePlus Open and OPPO Find N3 have a 4,805mAh battery. So, this will be a notable improvement.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite is said to fuel these two phones

The tipster also said that the phones will support wireless charging, unlike their predecessors. The Snapdragon 8 Elite will fuel both devices. He also added that the phones “will have everything”.

The OnePlus Open and OPPO Find N3 are identical, so the OnePlus Open 2 and OPPO Find N5 will likely be as well. Depending on the market, you’ll either have access to the OnePlus Open 2 or OPPO Find N5.

Now, an earlier rumor suggested that the two phones will arrive in early 2025. That info also came from Digital Chat Station earlier this year. So we’re guessing it’s safe to say that they’re coming in Q1 2025. The shared info sure does sound exciting.
