Alongside its new Vivo Pad5 Pro and Pad SE tablets, Vivo recently announced the launch of the Vivo Watch 5, a new smart wearable that the company claims can last up to three weeks of usage. Priced at just around $110 (at least when converted), it comes with some pretty decent features befitting of most modern wearable devices.

In terms of design, the Vivo Watch 5 comes with a look that resembles devices such as the Pixel Watch, especially with the smooth and rounded design. The side houses a rotating crown and an action button which serves as your means of navigation, alongside the 1.43-inch OLED touchscreen. The rest of the watch is contained within an aluminum frame that’s rated for 5ATM water immersion and swappable straps.
The Watch 5 runs on a 505 mAh battery that Vivo says can last for up to 22 days on a single charge at most, although this will vary depending on individual usage. Since it’s exclusive for Chinese regions at the moment, it runs on a custom platform instead of Wear OS with support for downloadable apps and customizable watch faces.
Other staples such as a pedometer, heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking are likewise present, with a variety of built-in workout modes. There’s no word yet on whether or not Vivo will launch this for markets outside of China.
