According to a newsletter by Mark Gurman from Bloomberg in October 2023, Apple is expected to launch the new AirPods Max in “late 2024.” Therefore, it can be inferred that the headphones will likely receive an update within the next 7-10 months, considering the mentioned timeframe, reports MacRumors.

Gurman has reported that Apple intends to make only slight modifications to the AirPods Max. These changes will involve replacing the Lightning port with a USB-C port for charging and wired audio playback.

Additionally, Apple plans to introduce new color choices for the headphones, expanding beyond the current options of Green, Pink, Silver, Sky Blue, and Space Gray.

Gurman mentioned that the revised AirPods Max will retain their first-generation status, indicating that the modifications made may be minimal. It is anticipated that these updated headphones will offer enhanced wireless audio connectivity through Bluetooth 5.3, an improvement from the previous Bluetooth 5.0, ensuring a more dependable and energy-efficient experience.

According to Gurman, the manufacturing process for the latest iPad Pro models and at least one new 13-inch MacBook Air is already in full swing within Apple’s supply chain in Asia.

The forthcoming iPad Air lineup is expected to bring forth a bigger 12.9-inch display size alongside an improved 10.9-inch variant. Speculations and possible improvements for the upcoming iterations of iPad Air include the incorporation of Apple’s M2 chip for enhanced speed, a redesigned rear camera bump, support for Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3.

It is important to note that there won’t be any major changes to the external design. It is worth highlighting that the current fifth-generation iPad Air, which features the M1 chip, was released in March 2022.
