Apple TV+ took five more awards for “Still” and “For All Mankind” in the Creative Emmy’s second night of honoring the best of television and film in 2023.
Following its success for “Ted Lasso” in the first evening of the Creative Emmy Awards two-night event, Apple has now seen recognition for “Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie” across multiple categories.
The film portrait of actor and writer Michael J. Fox, released at Sundance in January 2023 before streaming on Apple TV+, was honored with four awards:
- Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special
- Outstanding Directing for a Documentary/Nonfiction program — Davis Guggenheim
- Outstanding Picture Editing for a Nonfiction Program — Michael Harte, ACE
- Outstanding Music Composition for a Documentary Series or Special — John Powell
At the same time, one of the longest-running Apple TV+ series, “For All Mankind,” took home the prize for Outstanding Emerging Media Program, for its Season 3 Experience.
The success of “Still” at the Emmys also follows its sweeping the board at the Critics Choice Awards in November 2023.
