After launching three new high-end tablets a few days ago, Samsung is looking to launch more affordable tablets in the Galaxy Tab A and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series this year. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ were leaked a few days ago. Now, the Galaxy Tab A9 has been revealed.

The Galaxy Tab A9 is expected to be the successor to the Galaxy Tab A8 that was launched in 2021. The upcoming affordable tablet carries model number SM-X115, and it recently cleared the necessary FCC and Wi-Fi Alliance certification (via PriceBaba). Supporting documents reveal that the Galaxy Tab A9 measures 210.7mm x 124.7mm and has a 5,100mAh battery. These specifications suggest that the tablet may have an 8.7-inch display, similar to the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite.

It has power and volume buttons on the right side (when viewed from the front). It also features a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom. Connectivity features of the tablet include GPS, LTE, and Bluetooth 5.0.

As usual, the tablet from Samsung features a calling facility, as seen in real-life images from FCC certification documents. The device could run Android 13 out of the box and could launch before the end of this year. It may lack a fingerprint reader and an S Pen.
