Google Pixel Watch 2 features, promo video revealed ahead of launch

It has been officially confirmed that the Google Pixel Watch 2 will be launched globally on October 4, alongside the Pixel 8 series and an updated Pixel Buds Pro. The pricing details of the wearable are yet to be disclosed by the company. However, there have been several reports and rumors circulating about the specifications of the Pixel Watch 2.

Recently, a leaked promotional video has revealed additional features of the smartwatch and compared it with the Pixel Watch.

According to a report by 91Mobiles, Kamila Wojciechowska has leaked exclusive information, including a promotional video that provides new insights into the Pixel Watch 2. The wearable is expected to be equipped with Fitbit’s multi-path heart rate sensor, which will support heartbeat tracking even during intense workouts.

The Pixel Watch 2 is anticipated to be loaded with various health features based on Fitbit’s stress management system. The body-response tracking system will enable the smartwatch to monitor the user’s stress levels. Additionally, stress levels will also be detected using inputs from cEDA (continuous electrodermal activity – microscopic beads of sweat).

It has been reported that the Pixel Watch 2 will incorporate various fitness and security functionalities. Allegedly, the smartwatch will include automatic reminders for exercise schedules, which will be determined based on the user’s activity detection.

Another notable feature of the upcoming Pixel Watch 2 is said to be Emergency Sharing, which would facilitate the sharing of real-time location with emergency contacts. This feature could also prove beneficial in emergency situations by allowing the sharing of medical information, if necessary.

Furthermore, it is anticipated that the smartwatch will provide a battery life of up to 24 hours, even with the always-on display feature. Additionally, the Pixel Watch 2 is reportedly equipped with fast charge support, enabling users to fully charge the device from 0 to 100 percent in a mere 75 minutes.
