Comprehensive Leak Reveals OnePlus CE 4 Design and Specs – Talk Android

OnePlus Nord CE4 is launching on April Fool’s Day 

As confirmed by OnePlus’ Indian website and X account, the Nord CE4 smartphone will debut on April 1st, 2024 at precisely 6:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST). Of course, this time will vary across countries worldwide because of the different zones. 

The phone will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, which is a major step up from the Snapdragon 782 chipset on its predecessor. The display is an FHD+ screen with a high 120Hz refresh rate. The RAM size is 8GB, and it will pair with a 256GB ROM that’s expandable up to one terabyte.

The battery capacity is a mystery, but we know you’ll get up to 100W charging on its existing SUPERVOOC technology. Tech enthusiast Ishan Agarwal has shared a leak of the specs to expect on X. He says the capacity is 5,500mAh. The phone will run Oxygen OS 14, based on Android 14, and a 128GB storage variant will be available.

OnePlus has also given us a peek at the device. Released images of the phone show it in teal-colored celadon marble skin with two rear cameras and an LED flash. It will also come in a Dark Chrome or black variation if you’re not a fan of bright colors. 

Besides these officially revealed specifications, rumor has it that the phone’s primary camera will be a 50MP sensor, and the screen will be a large 6.7-inch display. Although the website says it will be a RAW HDR Camera, it does not mention camera specifications.

Ishan’s leak reveals that the main sensor will use Sony’s LYT-600 sensor and support optical image stabilization (OIS). Following it is an 8MP ultrawide camera using the Sony IMX335 sensor and a 16MP front camera. The phone retains the company’s iconic logo on the rear. On its right side are volume and lock buttons, with the SIM tray slot taking position at the bottom.
