The OnePlus Pad 2 will use Qualcomm’s most powerful Snapdragon SoC. The processor in question is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, of course, and that info has been revealed by Geekbench.

The OnePlus Pad 2 Geekbench listing confirms that the most powerful Snapdragon chip will be used

This tablet appeared on Geekbench with the said chip, and it managed to score 2,079 points in the single-core benchmark. In regards to the multi-core segment, the tablet scored 6,077 points.

The listing is quite new, as it surfaced today. That listing also says that the OnePlus Pad 3 will include 8GB of RAM. Android 14 is mentioned here too. That’s about all the information that Geekbench shared.

As a reminder, the original OnePlus Pad arrived in February 2023. Many people expected OnePlus to launch the second-gen model already, but that didn’t happen. In fact, the OnePlus Pad 2 has seemingly been delayed.

A couple of OnePlus devices have been delayed, it seems

A trusted tipster, Digital Chat Station, recently said that the device has been delayed. The same goes for the OPPO Pad 3 and the OnePlus Watch 3 as well. Max Jambor, another tipster, confirmed the news as well.

Considering that the information comes from two trusted tipsters, there’s really nothing to deny here. We’re not really sure when will the OnePlus Pad 2 arrive, though. It’s anyone’s guess at this point.

The original OnePlus Pad arrived with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. OnePlus seems to be planning a switch to a Snapdragon processor, though, Qualcomm’s top-tier mobile processor.

The OnePlus Pad 2 is expected to include a larger display this time around

The OnePlus Pad 2 is expected to be a rebranded OPPO Pad 3. Some information regarding the OPPO Pad 3 did surface already. So, we know what to expect from the OnePlus Pad 2, more or less.

A 12.1-inch IPS LCD display has been tipped. That will be a 144Hz panel, allegedly. The original OnePlus Pad included an 11.6-inch display. A 13-megapixel main camera is tipped, and an 8-megapixel selfie unit.
