From phandroid.com

Not too long ago, an image render showing the alleged design of the Nothing Phone 2a was shared online, giving us an idea of what Nothing’s new and upcoming budget smartphone will look like. Originally published by the folks over at Smartprix.com in collaboration with @OnLeaks, the design showed a look that doesn’t stray too far from the existing Nothing Phone 1 and 2.

This doesn’t seem to be the case now, however – it looks like Smartprix has retracted its original post, citing inaccuracies with the design presented in the render. In an updated post, Smartprix acknowledged that a different set of design renders (which were shared by leaker Evan Blass) are the more accurate representation of the Nothing Phone 2a.

With that being said, the “definitive” leak instead features a horizontal camera layout, fixed in the center of the rear panel. This is a stark contrast to the earlier render which featured a vertical camera layout on the upper left corner on the back of the phone.

It’s expected that Nothing might make a further announcement regarding the 2a during MWC 2024, which is scheduled to go live in Barcelona later this month.
