Realme updated its landing page for the 12 Pro announcement on January 29, revealing one more color option of the upcoming phone.
The 12 Pro+ will have a cream version with golden trims around the camera island and the body, and it will also have a “polished sunburst dial.”
The company also revealed some more camera specifications by trying to draw comparisons between its upper midranger and the just-announced Samsung Galaxy S24 series. According to the company X account, it will have not 100x but 120x zoom, a 64 MP sensor for the telephoto camera with a 1/2” size – precisely 27.62% bigger than the 1/2.52” imager used by Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Realme 12 Pro+ will have an even bigger sensor inside the main camera. It is the same 50 MP 1/1.56” Sony IMX890 with OIS, seen in last year’s OnePlus 11, Realme GT3, as well as the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, introduced at CES earlier this month.
The IMX890 will be on one of the 12 Pro devices, likely the Plus variant; the regular 12 Pro will likely get the 200 MP unit seen in last year’s Realme 11 Pro+.

The Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ are shaping up to be quite interesting offerings. The big question is how much they will cost, which will ultimately decide if they will be able to make an impact in an overcrowded midrange segment. We will get the answer in 10 days.
