If you’re looking for devices that bring the perfect balance between power and pricing, most people in the know will likely mention Realme. They bring devices that come with shockingly good specs at low price points, which is why it is no surprise that the company has blown up despite only being about 6 years old.

The Realme GT series offers the company’s most powerful devices by quite a margin, and this year, the lineup will be adding the Realme GT 6 to its ranks. Realme has said that you should be prepared for a proper flagship killer and AI, so it looks like the company has something in store.

The Realme GT 6, A Flagship Killer, Is Realme’s Return To The International Market After Two Years

It’s been over two years since the launch of the Realme GT 3, the last GT device from the Chinese manufacturer to be launched globally. Since then, the world hasn’t been allowed to get its hands on Realme’s GT devices, despite them being some of the most cost-effective devices on the market.

Well, it’s 2024 now, and it seems that Realme is ready to hop back into the global market with its GT series. This year, we’re getting the Realme GT 6, which we know nothing about besides the company teasing that this will be the “New Flagship Killer Powered by AI”. That’s a big claim and while we know nothing about the device’s specs, we’re looking forward to seeing what the company has for us.

While there’s nothing clear about the device’s hardware, we can say a few things about the AI side of things, because that’s what the company has talked about the most. The device is expected to have “state-of-the-art AI” and a “renewed focus on young users”. It’s hard to say exactly what this might entail, but I likely think that means we expect a lot of social media-focused AI features, like those AI-generated portraits. The camera and photo editor are almost certain to find a lot of AI integration themselves.

What Can We Speculate About The Realme GT 6 And Its Specs?

According to some rumors, the Realme GT 6 may come as a rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo 6. Whether there’s any veracity to this or not, it is a good way to get a bearing on what the company’s new device might come with regarding hardware. A leak has provided a few details too, namely, a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and 100W fast charging.

The Realme GT Neo 6 has a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, a 120Hz 1.5K resolution screen, a base configuration of 12GB/256GB with UFS 4.0 storage, a 5,500 mAh battery, and 120W fast charging. The main camera is a 50MP unit with OIS paired with an 8MP ultrawide, and the selfie snapper is 32MP.

Now, with all of that on the table, it is surprising how affordable a device like the GT Neo 6 is. These are high-end specs, and it’ll be great to see the company bring similar (if not identical) specifications to the international stage at a low cost. For now, though, we’ll simply need to wait and see when the company decides to tell us a bit more.

Through Tecno, Gionee, Vivo, Google, and now Samsung, Ayomide has always been an Android enthusiast. His current partner in crime is a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. You can find him playing Candy Crush or Call of Duty: Mobile, watching movies, and he is a big fan of trivia and quizzes.
