There is a new update rolling out for the Samsung Galaxy Books (and other Windows 11 computers) from Microsoft to the Release Preview Channels this week. Two new builds are shipping for the Release Preview Channel. Build 22621.2066 is for Insiders running Windows 11 version 22H2, while build 22000.2243 is for those using the original release of Windows 11.

According to the official changelog, there are quite a few new features and a lot of bug fixes arriving with the two new Windows 11 builds. One of the most important and new features that will elevate the user experience of the Galaxy Book with the S Pen is the update to the Handwriting Engine and the Handwriting Embedded Inking Control.

This will ensure that users using the Windows 11-powered Galaxy Book with S Pen and other compatible computers have a better handwriting input experience. The new update noticeably supports GB18030-2022 conformance level 2, which allows it to meet the level 3 requirements. Apart from this, the updates also fix some issues with the Windows Push Notification Services (WNS), make downloading the Windows Autopilot policy more resilient, make Country and Operator Settings Asset (COSA) profiles up to date, and much more.
