Samsung launched the open sale of Galaxy S24 earlier this week, and some customers are already complaining about an issue they’ve discovered. According to multiple reports online, the Vivid color profile is not as vivid as previous Galaxy S flagships, and users are considering returning their devices.
A company representative acknowledged the issue and confirmed the developer team is already working on the problem and will fix it “as soon as possible” through a software update.
The issue on the Dynamic 2X AMOLED screen in Vivid mode is the colors don’t pop as much and are actually similar to the Natural color profile.

We can confirm the issue is present on our units as well – the Galaxy S24 is clearly not as saturated as the Galaxy S23. While the Samsung chat support agent assured a fix was coming, they didn’t provide any timeframe. We will be monitoring the issue and update you once it comes.
