Samsung has used Epic Games’ Fortnite as a playground to promote Galaxy devices numerous times before, and the Korean tech giant is doing it again for the Galaxy S24 series.
Samsung Electronics Iberia is launching a new event in Fortnite called Samsung Galaxy Portals, in which players from Spain and Portugal can compete and represent their respective countries and have a chance to win prizes, including the new Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Galaxy Portals will turn into an in-person event between Spanish and Portuguese players
This new Fortnite challenge is made of a couple of phases, and the first is called Samsung Galaxy Portals Deathrun.
This first challenge consists of a custom Fortnite map that is themed after the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
While playing this map, participants need to avoid obstacles while going from point A to Z. The goal is to complete the run in the shortest time possible.
The winner of this event will win the Galaxy S24 Ultra. In addition, the three fastest Fortnite players will get to represent Spain in the next step of the event, which consists of an in-person meeting at the Samsung Galaxy Portals Arena.
This Arena event will be held on February 18 at the Samsung Store Callao in Madrid. There, the three Spanish Fortnite players will go against three Portuguese players in an epic duel.
