According to new data from MoffettNathanson, the streaming service is now estimated to have 6.5 million subscribers, up 600,000 from where it was last quarter, Cord Cutters News reports.
The group estimates that live TV streaming services now have 18 million cumulative subscribers. YouTube TV has the most at 6.5 million, with Hulu + Live TV lagging slightly behind at 4.6 million subscribers. Sling TV is estimated to have 2.12 million subscribers, and Fubo brings in the bottom of the list with 1.477 million subscribers.
According to Cord Cutters News, YouTube TV was the only live TV provider that actually gained subscribers in Q3 of 2023.
In March 2023, YouTube raised the price of YouTube TV by $8 to $72.99 a month. That price increase officially went into effect for existing subscribers in April.
