No matter how hard Samsung might be trying to stop leaks, the company can’t seem to be able to prevent them from happening. The upcoming Galaxy S24 is going through the same motions as its predecessors, and the first official renders showcasing the base model have now emerged online through unofficial channels (via Android Headlines).

Meet the Galaxy S24, as seen through these renders that confirm a few color options, including yellow, violet, graphite, and silver. Unsurprisingly, the renders confirm that the Galaxy S24 looks a lot like the S23, except it now boasts a flat frame and other minor design tweaks.

The Galaxy S24 appears to have a back glass panel with a slight curve around the edges rather than being cut at a 90-degree angle. It’s reminiscent of 2.5D glass.

As expected, the cameras have metal rings and individual cutouts, which has been Samsung’s signature design since the launch of the Galaxy S23.

Despite these being minor visual changes, the Galaxy S24 looks somewhat refined and better than the predecessor. The flat frame really makes a difference, and the phone will likely feel very different from the Galaxy S23.

Many more changes on the inside

Samsung will focus on improving many other aspects of the Galaxy S24, and these efforts go beyond looks. The upcoming flagship will supposedly boast never-before-seen AI capabilities, new and more powerful chipsets, and brighter displays that could top 2,500 nits.

Samsung hasn’t confirmed when or where it will announce the Galaxy S24 series, but older rumors indicate that the flagships will go official on January 17 at an Unpacked event in San Jose, California.
