It looks like a future version of Samsung Internet could have something related to the viral AI tool ChatGPT. According to Android Authority, Samsung Internet’s application file (APK) has placeholders for settings related to ChatGPT and selecting models for ChatGPT. However, the publication couldn’t find any clues about how the tech giant is planning to implement the AI chatbot in the web browser.

Samsung could simply add a ChatGPT-powered chat window to the app, allowing people to run queries on the AI model directly from Samsung Internet rather than navigating to the ChatGPT website. The company could also use the AI chatbot to show users the gist of a webpage, helping them understand long stories in a short time. At this point, there are many possibilities, and it is hard to tell how Samsung will integrate this feature into the app.

Samsung Web Browser ChatGPT Code

Samsung might introduce ChatGPT into Samsung Internet as an experimental feature (or as a part of Galaxy Labs). Sometimes, these companies add an experimental feature to the app to test its viability and then withdraw it from the final version of the app. So, it is possible that the web browser might not get the ChatGPT integration at all. However, we wish that it does because it would make the already-amazing web browser even better.

A few months ago, it was reported that Samsung was planning to replace Google Search on Galaxy smartphones with Microsoft Bing just because the latter features ChatGPT integration. Later, the company dropped the plan for various reasons and decided to stick with Google Search. But it looks like Samsung wants to offer ChatGPT to its users in some or the other way.

On a similar note, Samsung seems to be developing its own ChatGPT-like AI model in collaboration with Naver.
